When having your septic system inspected be sure the following items are completed.

A standard inspection should include the following items:

  1. Your inspector should be able to locate the system
     
  2. Uncovering access holes
     
  3. Flushing the toilets
     
  4. Checking for signs of back up
     
  5. Measuring the scum and sludge levels
     
  6. Checking for leaks
     
  7. Checking all mechanical components
     
  8. Pumping tank if necessary
